Issu d\u2019une <strong data-start=\"172\" data-end=\"198\">famille d\u2019agriculteurs<\/strong>, il passe son enfance sur la ferme familiale, au c\u0153ur de cette r\u00e9gion rurale.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"280\" data-end=\"582\">Il grandit dans l\u2019univers typique des fermes landaises, entour\u00e9 de <strong data-start=\"347\" data-end=\"358\">canards<\/strong>, d\u2019<strong data-start=\"362\" data-end=\"370\">oies<\/strong>, de <strong data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"393\">c\u00e8pes sauvages<\/strong> et de <strong data-start=\"400\" data-end=\"413\">foie gras<\/strong> issus de la production locale. Plus tard, il \u00e9voquera souvent que nombre de ses souvenirs d\u2019enfance sont li\u00e9s au <strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"547\">potager familial<\/strong> et aux <strong data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"579\">for\u00eats environnantes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"880\">Il se rappelle notamment de ses promenades dans les <strong data-start=\"636\" data-end=\"656\">for\u00eats de ch\u00eanes<\/strong> avec son grand-p\u00e8re, <strong data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"691\">menuisier<\/strong>, et des moments pass\u00e9s \u00e0 observer sa grand-m\u00e8re cuisiner les produits cultiv\u00e9s sur la ferme. Les repas familiaux \u00e9taient pr\u00e9par\u00e9s <strong data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"877\">exclusivement \u00e0 partir de la production de la ferme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"1252\">Il raconte avoir cueilli des <strong data-start=\"911\" data-end=\"922\">fraises<\/strong> et m\u00eame de la <strong data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"972\">laitue encore couverte de ros\u00e9e<\/strong> pour aider \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer le d\u00e9jeuner et les repas du dimanche.
